Complete Required credit hours with a minimum grade point average of 2.3.
Students enrolled in a master's program who have successfully passed the comprehensive examination must submit the final draft of their thesis to the department faculty no later than the first Sunday of November in their year of graduation.
Regular students who have successfully submitted their Ministry Report are eligible to sit for the Comprehensive Examination, which is scheduled for the second Sunday of October in their graduating year. The Comprehensive Examination is a graduation requirement that determines a student's eligibility for graduation. It is designed to assess the student's overall theological knowledge and ministerial competency. The examination consists of 400 written questions covering a broad range of subjects, including Systematic Theology, Bible Exposition (Old and New Testaments), Church History, Biblical Missions, Church Management, Christian Leadership, Pastoral Ministry, Christian Counseling, Expository Preaching, and the fundamentals of the biblical languages (Greek and Hebrew). To successfully complete the examination, students must achieve a minimum grade of "C."
As a graduation requirement, each student must submit a Ministry Report documenting his or her ministry involvement and contributions to a local church throughout the three years of study, including the challenges encountered and the outcomes of the ministry. The report must be submitted to the Field Education Department no later than the last day of the Spring Session in the graduating year (before July 15). An oral presentation may be required at the discretion of the department. This ministry report is mandatory for all graduating students.
