  • We believe the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments to be verbally inspired and to be the inerrant and infallible Word of God. The Scriptures are the supreme and final authority in all matters of faith, life, and practice (2 Tim. 3:16–17; 2 Pet. 1:20–21; Ps. 19:7–9).
  • We believe that our one God eternally exists in three co-equal Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Deut. 6:4; Matt. 28:19; 2 Cor. 13:14).
  • We believe that God the Son became incarnate in the person of Jesus Christ, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. As such, He is truly God and truly man (Isa. 7:14; John 1:14; Phil. 2:6–8).
  • We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures as a substitutionary sacrifice, and that all who believe in Him are justified on the ground of His shed blood (Isa. 53:5–6; 1 Cor. 15:3–4; Rom. 5:8–9).
  • We believe in the bodily resurrection of the crucified Lord, His ascension into heaven, and His present ministry there as our High Priest and Advocate (Luke 24:6–7; Acts 1:9–11; Heb. 7:25).
  • We believe in the personal, bodily, and pre-millennial return of our Lord Jesus Christ, at which time He will come in glory to set up His kingdom on the earth and reign in righteousness and peace (Zech. 14:4–9; Rev. 19:11–16; Isa. 9:6–7).
  • We believe that the Holy Spirit is a divine Person possessing all the attributes of God. He convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment; regenerates believers; sets them apart; places them into the body of Christ; and permanently indwells them from the moment of regeneration (John 16:7–11; 1 Cor. 12:13; Eph. 1:13–14).
  • We believe that man was created in the image of God, but through sin incurred both physical and spiritual death. This sin separated man from God and passed on a sinful nature to the whole human race. Therefore, all who reach moral responsibility become sinners in thought, word, and deed (Gen. 1:26–27; Rom. 5:12; Eph. 2:1–3).
  • We believe that whoever receives the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior becomes a child of God by faith alone, apart from works. The believer then becomes a new creation, created in Christ Jesus unto good works (John 1:12; Eph. 2:8–10; 2 Cor. 5:17).
  • We believe that the redeemed are kept eternally secure by the power of God through the new birth, the indwelling and sealing of the Holy Spirit, and the intercession of Christ (John 10:28–29; Rom. 8:38–39; 1 Pet. 1:3–5).
  • We believe that all born-again believers still possess the fallen nature of Adam, but God has made full provision for victory through the Lord Jesus Christ and the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit (Rom. 7:18–25; Gal. 5:16–17; 1 John 4:4).
  • We believe that God heals afflictions in answer to the prayers of believers, with or without means, according to His sovereign will. Healing is not guaranteed in the same way as salvation, and the absence of healing is not necessarily an indication of sin or unbelief (Jas. 5:14–16; 2 Cor. 12:7–9; 1 Tim. 5:23).
  • We believe that the Church, in its invisible form, is universal and is the true body and bride of the Lord Jesus Christ, consisting of all born-again believers regardless of denomination or organization (Matt. 16:18; 1 Cor. 12:12–13; Eph. 5:25–27).
  • We believe that the translation of the Church will be followed by the fulfillment of Israel’s seventieth week, during which the Church, the body of Christ, will be in heaven (1 Thess. 4:16–17; Dan. 9:24–27; Rev. 3:10).
  • We believe that the period of the Great Tribulation on the earth will be climaxed by the return of the Lord Jesus Christ to the earth in glory (Matt. 24:29–30; Rev. 19:11–16; Zech. 14:3–5).
  • We believe that Christ has ordained the observances of immersion baptism and the Lord’s Supper until His return (Matt. 28:19–20; Rom. 6:3–4; 1 Cor. 11:23–26).
  • We believe in the reality and personality of Satan, a created angel who fell through pride and rebellion against God. He is the enemy of God and man, the ruler of this present world system, and is destined for eternal judgment in the lake of fire (Isa. 14:12–15; 1 Pet. 5:8; Rev. 20:10).
  • We believe in the bodily resurrection of all men— the saved to everlasting life and the unsaved to everlasting punishment (Dan. 12:2; John 5:28–29; Rev. 20:11–15).
  • We believe in the final judgment in which God will perfectly and righteously judge all mankind, rewarding the redeemed and condemning the unrepentant to eternal separation from Him (Heb. 9:27; Acts. 17:31; Rev. 20:11–15).
  • We believe in the sanctity of marriage as a covenant between one man and one woman, ordained by God for the good of humanity and the glory of His name, and that sexual intimacy is reserved for marriage alone (Gen. 2:24; Matt. 19:4–6; Heb. 13:4).
