About Us
Rooted in Scripture, built for Nepal's church
Asia Theological Seminary (ATS), affiliated with Asia Evangelical College & Seminary, Bangalore and formerly known as AECS Nepal, is an evangelical, non-denominational theological seminary. Limited religious freedom from 1952, and the restoration of democracy in 1990, saw the church grow rapidly across Nepal.
Theological education did not keep pace — leaving doctrinal confusion and weak spiritual leadership in many churches. ATS exists to close that gap: equipping Christian leaders with sound biblical training, spiritual maturity and effective ministry skills that strengthen the church and preserve a faithful Christian witness in Nepal.
